Wow, 2018 went by so fast. I shared many things with you – my life, family, habits, exercise and healthy food and my family’s favorite recipes that I have created for them over the years.
Today I thought I would do a quick recap of four the most popular recipes on my blog.

Energy Bites appeared back in April 2018. A quick and easy recipe that your whole family will love. Energy bites work as an after school snack for the kids or as a post work out snack.
Great Weeknight Dinners
My very first Instant Pot Recipe was posted back in March. I created this Beef and Broccoli recipe by combining several flavors that I love and working to get the “take out” texture right. By they way my family devours this, I think it’s a winner!
Quick weeknight dinners and meals that can be prepped for lunches are a staple in our house. Santa Fe Beans and Rice meets both of those. It makes a wonderful, easy weeknight dinner with grilled chicken and, it easily makes a fabulous lunch. Easy to heat and only one lunch container required!
When winter sets in, I am always looking for great soup recipes. This Zuppa Toscana fills you up and keeps you warm. Easy to make ahead and is also great for lunches during the week!
2018 brought so many changes to our family – I lost my Dad in April, our youngest son graduated from college and we (my husband and I) purchased a toy soldier business – both of these events happened in December.
My blog took a backseat for a bit . With all of these things happening, I just couldn’t keep it up. But now I am back and plan to post each Friday. As soon as I can, I will also add back Tuesday Tidbits with recipes and tips. 2019 is going to be a year of growth and stretching out of my comfort zone. My plan is to be consistently engaged with the things I love and this blog, and you my good life friend, are at the top of that list!
